I ventured into San Francisco from out of state and heard about SF Follies. What a fantastic ride into learning the history and glamor of San Francisco! While I don't live in the bay area, I truly had a great time watching that show! My face hurt from laughing so much!

John Bisceglie’s SF Follies was non-stop fun and laughs, with lots of music and songs that will get your toes tapping.
This is a real find for those that want to see the history of San Francisco like it's never been told before, with lots of gags, puns, glitz and glamor....and a naked 49er!
The costumes are fantastic and the smiles are contagious.

Don't forget Marin Theater. Right now, they have a marvelous production of WHAT THE BUTLER SAW directed by Amy Glazer June 4-28. The pace and the acting in this black comedy is unrivaled. I have never seen either Charlie Robinson or Stacey Ross do better and to me they are two outstanding Bay Area Talents who enhance every production they are in. Outrageous, shocking and choice...a play for everyone. www.marintheatre.org 415 388 5208
AND if you like dark, puzzling plays about the human condition, you cannot beat Edward Albee's AT HOME AT THE ZOO perfectly directed by Rebecca Bayla Taichman and acted with style and sensitivity by Anthony Fusco, Rene Augesen and Manoel Felciano. This is a disturbing drama that explores what it takes to break a really nice guy. The language is gorgeous, the characters hateful and too real and the situations uncomfortably gripping because they pose questions we all ask ourselves as we pursue our various journeys through this puzzling life of ours. www.act-sf.org; 415 749 2ACT

There is also great theater in the South Bay. South Bay Musical Theater in Saratoga just finished an extremely successful run of "Chicago" and next is "The Producers." Go to: www.saratogadramagroup.com/ to get more information.

John Bisceglie's SF Follies is pure entertainment! The glitzy costumes, elaborate set and clever humor make for an excellent evening of fun and laughter. This production has mass appeal and will not disappoint.
